Yesterday (I think) I was listening to WNYC (sort of) and something about the steroid scandal came on, thus the sort of, because blah blah blah blah blah blah baseball blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah steroids blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.

Some doctor was on the air, enumerating the side effects of steroid use.

Elevated blood pressure; liver damage; increased risk of heart disease…

There were a few other things on the list. Then he said,

Shrinkage of the testicles…

Sure. I’ve heard that before—

…known in the vernacular as turning your nuts into grapes.

Thanks for clearing that up, Doc! I’ve heard of “liver” and “heart” before but I just couldn’t figure out “testicles.” Now I get it!
